Chad Henne

About Chad Henne

Chad Henne was garnering national attention long before he became the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins in 2009. By the end of his last year of high school, he had achieved the third highest total of passing yards in Pennsylvania history (7,071). Following his high school success, he was admitted to the University of Michigan and went on to become one of the greatest college quarterbacks in the country and one of the best players in UM Wolverines history. In his freshman season with Michigan, Henne tied the school’s season record for touchdown passes (25). He finished his college career with the following totals, all of which were school records: 828 of 1,387 passes for 9,715 yards, 87 touchdowns, and 37 interceptions. His passing touchdowns total is second in Big Ten Conference history. During his four years with the Wolverines, Henne was named an All-American Freshman Team Quarterback, a Capital One Bowl MVP, and a Senior Bowl North Offensive MVP.

In 2008, Henne was drafted into the NFL by the Miami Dolphins. He served as backup to starting quarterback Chad Pennington until a serious injury ended Pennington’s season and left Henne as the starting quarterback in late 2009. Since then, he has continued to impress spectators and win fans from all over the country.
